Ex-army man alleges agency got his social media channels terminated

Self-styled political expert Adil Raja, a former army man, has alleged that one of the country’s intelligence agencies has terminated his social media channels through ‘mass reporting’ and ‘lawfare’.

“The Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence-ISI’s media teams, in conjunction with PTA legal complaints, got my YouTube channels & Facebook terminated through mass reporting & lawfare,” he wrote in a tweet on Saturday. “Please let YouTube & Facebook know what you think about their decision.”

Raja is known for his pro-PTI stance and keeps posting about Pakistan’s situation in his vlogs and social media posts.

Raja went to the United Kingdom last year following the ouster of the PTI government through a no-confidence vote in Parliament. He was nominated in a case registered by Rawalpindi’s Banni police under Section 406 (criminal breach of trust) of the Pakistan Penal Code, Dawn reported.
