Better to step down than to bring storm of inflation: Maryam Nawaz

SARGODHA: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz said that those who had destroyed the economy of the country during their four-year rule were asking Shehbaz Sharif to give an account of his four weeks performance.

Addressing a public gathering in Sargodha on Thursday, PML-N vice president said it would be better to leave the government than to bring the storm of inflation to the people of Pakistan.

Maryam said that Imran Khan was the reason for the increasing rate of the Dollar, increase in fuel prices, and economic disaster.

Making any decision that burdens the common people sadden PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, she added.

She said that Nawaz Sharif along with the security forces had eradicated terrorism and ended load shedding in the country.

“Imran Khan is the name of a menace and a backstabber,” Maryam said, adding that the former premier betrayed all those who were loyal to him.“

She said that first Imran Khan was saying that a foreign conspiracy was hatched against him, and now Khan is claiming that there is a plot to assassinate him. “The people of Pakistan have evidence against your fake claims.”
