When PM sees power slipping away, he comes up with 'absurd explanations': Shahbaz

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and the opposition leader in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan after seeing power slipping away comes up with "absurd explanations."

The prime minister during his address earlier in the day at PTI's “historic gathering” at Parade Ground in Islamabad had said that "foreign funded conspiracy" was being hatched to topple his government to influence Pakistan's foreign policy.

Reacting to the premiers remarks Shahbaz said that he who "came to power through a London plan sees conspiracy in everything."

The PML-N president further said that the prime minister lost because he presided over "a corrupt and extremely incompetent government."

Earlier in the day in a video message shared on PML-N's Twitter handle Shahbaz had slammed the government over alleged worst corruption, poverty, and cruel behavior to the common man during its three-year tenure, saying that it was a reality that inflation in Pakistan has reached the highest level in the regime of PM Imran Khan.

He maintained that he wanted to convey an important message of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif to the nation.

PML-N president urged the masses to get up and join the “Mehngai Mukao March” to get rid of PM Imran-led government. "May Allah Almighty grant you this courage and success in your endeavors," Shehbaz prayed.

The PML-N president added that they will send the government packing in a constitutional manner. He further asked the people to knock down this corrupt government to save the future of the nation.
