Eerie numbers: Twitter user shares similarity between WW1, WW2 and Ukraine

A Twitter user Patrick Bet-David spotted an eerie similarity between the dates of the two world wars as well as the start of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Austria and Hungary decided to declare war on Serbia on July 28, 1914, which was the start of the First World War. When you add the numbers 7, 28, 19, and 14, the answer is 68.

Similarly, when you look at the dates for World War II -- September 1, 1939 -- the result comes to 68.

Finally looking at the day war broke out in Ukraine, February 24, 2022, the answer again comes to, you guessed it, 68.

He shared the observation in a tweet that had many people responding with their conspiracy theories.

While others responded with shock.

Some came down hard on the math

And others wondered about the significance of the number 68.

Do you think there is any substance to this or is it mere coincidence?
