NCOC allows full house for Lahore leg of PSL matches

The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has allowed Pakistan Cricket Board to conduct Pakistan Super League (PSL) Lahore matches with 50% stadium capacity for fully vaccinated spectators till 15th February 2022.

However, from 16 February onwards 100 % stadium occupancy has been permitted, with spectators required to be vaccinated.

During a meeting chaired by NCOC chief and Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar, it was decided that unvaccinated children under 12 years of age would also be allowed.

PSL Lahore leg matches will start from February 10 with the unbeaten Multan Sultans taking on Peshawar Zalmi at Gaddafi Stadium.

Earlier the NCOC had allowed up to 25pc occupancy during the Karachi leg of the tournament.

In its meeting today, the NCOC also decided that Rapid Antigen Testing (RAT) test for Inbound Passengers on arrival at Pakistani airports has been abolished with effect from 8th February, However, RAT test will continue to be conducted for deportees from foreign countries and for non-vaccinated individuals arriving from land border terminals.
