The Pakistani passport ranks in top 5 worst passports for 3rd consecutive year

The Pakistani passport has ranked as the fourth worst passport for international travel for the third consecutive year, according to the Henley Passport Index 2022.

The Henley Passport Index ranks all the world’s passports according to how many countries the country's citizens can access without a prior visa. It placed Pakistan at the 108th position.

Japan and Singapore top the list of 199 passports because their citizens can travel to 192 destinations without visas.

South Korea and Germany tie in second place as they can travel to 190 nations while and Finland, Italy, Luxembourg, and Spain come in at third place and can travel to 189 nations.

Afghanistan's citizens rank at the bottom because they can travel to just 26 countries without requiring a visa in advance.

Social media users bemoaned Pakistan's inclusion in the worst ranked list.

Another commented that had the Murree snowfall incident occurred prior to the list's issuance, Pakistan's passport may have topped the list.

Another user tweeted a story and asked what this said about our foreign policy.
