Noor Mukadam murder case: Judicial remand of four accused extended till Sep 6

Islamabad District and Sessions Court has extended the judicial remand of four accused in Noor Mukaddam murder case.

The court extended the judicial remand of four accused including parents of the main accused Zahir Jaffar, Zakir Jaffer, Ismat Adam G and two others Iftikhar and Jameel till Sptember 6 in Noor murder case.

The council of the owner of psychiatric rehabilitation center argued in the court that the accused, Tahir Zahoor, My client’s work is therapy, he treat people and my client is suffering from blood pressure, heart and kidney diseases.

The medical history of the accused was also presented in the court.

Public Prosecutor Hassan Abbas pleaded that the bail application of the accused should be rejected.

After concluding the arguments of the parties, the court reserved the verdict in the Noor murder case and extended the judicial remand of four accused, including the parents of accused Zahir Jaffer, till September 6.

Police had arrested six people including owner and staffers at a psychiatric rehabilitation center for their alleged role in facilitating Zahir Jaffer, the prime suspect in the murder.

On July 20, Noor Mukadam, daughter of a former ambassador, had been murdered allegedly by her friend Zahir Jaffer in Islamabad.
