PSX breaks new record as trading opens
Rupee continues to make gains against dollar
Pakistani Stock Exchange hit a new record as trading opened on Friday.
The benchmark 100-index gained 150 points to 67,290 points, the highest mark in the exchange’s history.
Previously, the highest mark the index had reached was 67,142 points.
Rupee continues gains
On the other hand, the Pakistani rupee also continued its gains against the US dollar.
The dollar lost 23 paisas to fall to Rs277.80 in the interbank market.
