Eight dead, including five women, in KP’s Buner as van plunges into ravine
Initial report says van fell into ravine after brake failure
At least eight people were dead in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Buner district on Thursday as a van plunged into a whileravine, police said.
The bus was en route to Chagharzai from Sawari Bazaar. Initial report said that the van fell into the ravine due to brake failure.
Five women, two children, and a driver were among the deceased, according to police.
Such kinds of incidents have been reported in the country’s northern areas in past while experts blame dangerous roads and reckless driving for the incident.
