Portfolios allocated to Sindh cabinet members
Old faces return to nine-member cabinet
The newly sworn in Sindh government has allocated portfolios to its cabinet members, which mostly comprise old faces.
Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori administered the oath to the nine members of the cabinet during a ceremony at the Governor’s House in Karachi.
The members included Sharjeel Memon, Dr Azra Pechuho, Nasir Shah, Sardar Shah, Saeed Ghani, Jam Khan Shoro, Ziaul Hasan Lanjar, Mohammad Bux Mahar and Ali Hassan Zardari.
Ministers
- MPA Sharjeel Memon – transport, mass transit, excise, and narcotics control
- MPA Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho – health and welfare
- MPA Nasir Hussain Shah – power and development
- MPA Sardar Ali Shah – school education, literacy, mines and minerals development
- MPA Saeed Ghani – local government and housing town, planning department, public health engineering and rural development
- MPA Jam Khan Shoro – irrigation and food processing
- MPA Ziaul Hasan Lanjar – interior and criminal prosecution
- MPA Ali Hassan Zardari – prison department
Advisers to the CM
- Allah Bakhsh Dino Khan Bheo – CM’s adviser on forest and wildlife
- Ahsaanur Rehman Mazari – CM’s adviser on interprovincial coordination
