Couple killed as dumper rams into motorbike in Karachi
Police say locals torched the vehicle after the accident
A couple was killed after a dumper rammed into a motorbike they were riding near Power House Chowrangi in North Karachi on Monday, police said.
While the driver of the heavy vehicle fled the scene, enraged locals torched the dumper, they added.
The victims, who were husband and wife, were identified as Naukar Jan Miraj Bibi and were residents of Manghopir’ Sultanabad area.
Police arrived at the scene and called a fire tender to douse the flames which had completely burned the front side of the dumper.
