British multimillionaire and television personality Danny Lambo has announced that he has accepted Islam.
Lambo accepted Islam after meeting a man named Abdul Basit in Saudi Arabia while on a business trip.
Right after his conversion, he went to Makkah and performed Umra.
In a post on Instagram, he thanked Basit for showing him the ‘real meaning and purpose of life’.
Originally known as Danny Karne, he was born to two school teachers and left school to pursue a singing career beginning from a London bar, eventually making a name for himself.
He later ventured into a hotel business in Paddington after purchasing a 30-room BNB. He reportedly became a millionaire by the age of 22.
He also gained acclaim after he auditioned for the reality TV show X-Factor, in which he was ultimately unsuccessful.
His affinity for Lamborghini cars earned him the name Danny Lambo. He is also known for his charity works. His net worth is reported to be around £50 million.
“You never know where your path in life will lead you,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
