Police deployed after student federations clash at International Islamic University
The IJT allegedly attacked an event of the Pukhtoon Council
Police arrived at the International Islamic University in Islamabad after members of the Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba (IJT) and Pukhtoon Council clashed on Saturday.
Reports said that the Pukhtoon Council held an event in remembrance of the Army Public School (APS) attack martyrs when IJT allegedly attacked the participants of the event while chanting slogans.
A huge contingency of police was deployed at the old campus of the varsity after the Pukhtoon Council’s complaint. Meanwhile, the IJT members continued chanting slogans.
