In a major boost for the Pakistan Peoples Party in Balochistan, former Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo joined the party on Thursday.
Bizenjo met PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari at the Bilawal House in Lahore on Thursday where he formally announced joining the party.
The former CM was accompanied by former provincial minister Sikader Imrani and Syed Nizamuddin who also joined the PPP.
Syed Hameed, Naseer Ahmed Bizenjo, Mir Abdul Wahab Bizenjo and others also joined the party.
Abdul Quddus Bizenjo served as Balochistan’s chief minsiter from 2021 to 2023. He was also the president of the Balochistan Awami Party.
The PPP had recently held its foundation day celebrations in Quetta where Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Asif Zardari had addressed a rally.
