Punjab govt suspends Nawaz’s sentence in Al-Azizia case
Nawaz had asked for the suspension in light of the IHC verdict
Punjab’s interim government suspended former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s sentence in the Al-Azizia case on Tuesday.
Nawaz had asked the Punjab government to suspend his sentence in light of the Islamabad High Court verdict in the Al-Azizia case.
He is also set to appear in the IHC in the same case for restoration of his appeals.
