Islamabad police kill alleged robber in fire exchange
Police say the suspect was wanted in eight cases
At least one suspected robber was killed while two escaped as they exchanged fire with Islamabad police near the Khanna police station in the capital city on Friday.
An official of Islamabad police said that the killed robber was identified as Rashid Zaman who was wanted in around eight cases filed at Khanna and Taxila Police Station.
All the police personnel were unharmed due to precautionary measures taken during the conduct of the operation, he added.
