Coal mine explosion kills three labourers in Kohat
The explosion took place due to gas pressure in the mine
A blast in a coal mine in Kohat killed three labourers on Monday.
Reports said that the blast took place in a mine in Akhorwal, a part of Dara Adam Khel.
The mine is being operated by Ilyas Coal Company.
In the absence of rescue services, labourers working around the mine helped in getting the men out of the mine.
The blast reportedly took place after gas pressure built up in the mine. Reports said that two out of the three labourers belonged to Shangla.
The bodies of the three men were sent to their hometowns after funeral prayers.
