IG Islamabad goes on year-long leave
A spokesperson said the leave will only last 7 days
Inspector General Islamabad Police Akbar Nasir Khan has gone on leaves but multiple accounts have emerged as to how long his absence will be.
A spokesperson for the Islamabad police said that Khan will be leave for seven days. However, sources told Aaj News that the leave could last as long as one year.
Sources also said that Khan left the country through the Islamabad airport on Friday.
He has been serving as the capital’s IG since May last year.
