Imran still listening to ‘snakes’ who got him in trouble: Vawda

Says two 'khaas' people are also behind Imran's problems

Senator Faisal Vawda has said that there are people within the party who are waiting to get rid of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief and replace him.

Vawda, who is himself a former member of the PTI, said there are ‘two khaas (particulars) and three snakes’ still around Imran Khan who are leading him to bad decisions.

The senator made these claims in Rubaroo with Shaukat Piracha on Aaj TV on Sunday.

He said that as long as Imran Khan is surrounded by these people, his future does not seem bright and could only lead to more problems.

Vawda said that the army is the only main institution in the country and and targeting the army, as Imran Khan seems to be doing, can only lead to harm.

He also said that setting Imran Khan up against the army was the aim of the two khaas while the three snakes want to get rid of Imran Khan by harming him, disqualifying him or even putting his life in danger, just so they can take his place. He also said that Imran had been forced to let Nawaz Sharif go abroad after one these khaas people put pressure on PTI’s PUnjab government.

He also claimed that people from within the PTI had made calls to General Qamar Bajwa, who was army chief at the time, to tell them that they should be made prime minister in place of Imran Khan.

Vawda also calimed that he had told Imran Khan about these people in a cabinet meeting ane behind closed doors as well.

However, he did not name these five people and said he would do it at an appropriate time. The appropriate time, according to him, would be when he was sure that the khaas would be caught as well because it is usually only characters like the three snakes who take the fall.

Vawda also claimed that the three snakes were the people who had conspired to have General Asim Munir removed when he was serving as the DG ISI. He even claimed that he met General Munir when he was a minister and told him not to do what he was doing because ‘the field had been set’ behind his back.

However, Vawda said, the general said he left matters to God. He also said that Munir was now in a successful position because he had chosen to trust in God at a dangerous time.

Faisal Vawda also said that the system had failed and someone would have to look out for the public and the faces who were behind Pakistan’s problems would have to be thrown out. He said that the ‘drum of constitution, law and democracy’ would have to be discarded.

He also said that if all matters have to be taken to courts eventually, why not jut hand them the keys to everything so ‘everyone can be rolled up and done away with once’.
