Five wounded in explosion near Quetta Police Lines
Pakistan has seen an upsurge in terror attacks in recent days.
At least five people were injured in an explosion near the Quetta Police Lines area on Sunday, rescue officials said. They were shifted to the Civil Hospital.
They were identified as Muhammad Usman, Qaim Khan, Fazal Muhammad, Muhammad Anwar, and Thomas.
The attack took place near Musa check post. The scale and nature of the explosion are currently being investigated.
The outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement released on Sunday.
