It is unacceptable: Fans reject hike in PSL8 ticket prices
Cricket fans have rejected the recent hike in the Pakistan Super League season eight (PSL8) ticket prices saying it is ‘unacceptable’.
The announcement of tickets from the Pakistan Cricket Board on Saturday brought joy to among fans who, were anxiously waiting for the tournament, however, the price hike spoiled all the fun.
The base price is set at Rs650, while it will go all the way up to Rs1,000 for certain games. For the first time, the board also introduced season passes for weekday matches.
Soon after the announcement, fans started a trend ‘#FansRejectPSLTicketPrices’, which is now filled with some hilarious memes and comments demanding to reduce the price.
