Police raid Elahi’s residence in Gujrat
No arrests were made despite three hour presence
Police, along with other agencies, raided the residence of former chief minister Parvez Elahi early on Wednesday morning.
A large contingent of police made the raid on the house in Kunjah, surrounding the building and patrolling its perimeter.
However, after staying there for three and a half hours they had to return empty handed.
Parvez Elahi was the chief minister of the province until the assembly’s dissolution on January 14.
