Punjab police is likely to reduce the security at former prime minister and PTI chief Imran Khan’s Zaman Park residence.

As many as 500 policemen are stationed at Zaman Park for the security of former premier Imran Khan and they work in three shifts, the police said and added that the PTI chief would be given that kind of security which is usually required for a former prime minister.

Imran Khan’s security was beefed up in November 2022, after he was attacked during his party’s long march.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sahrif had directed the Punjab government to provide security to the PTI chief during political gatherings and rallies.

Meanwhile, former federal minister and PTI leader Asad Umar directed all stakeholders and party workers to reach Zaman Park.
