Two suicide bombers among 11 terrorists killed in North Waziristan IBO

Two suicide bombers among eleven terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire as security forces thwarted terrorist activity during an intelligence-based operation in South Waziristan’s Wana area, the military’s media wing said in a statement on Thursday.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that terrorist commander Hafizullah alias Tor Hafiz during an intense exchange of fire.

The statement said that forces destroyed the vehicles used by the terrorists. A huge quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered, it added.

ISPR said the militants were actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and target-killing of police in South Waziristan.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and security forces arrested an alleged suicide bomber from Islamabad. According to sources, Zakirullah, an alleged terrorist, was apprehended nearby Tarnol Police Station using sophisticated technology and agency intelligence.
