A video has gone viral on social media in which a mouse can been seen enjoying a slice of cake while a high-ranking individual is addressing what seems like an important meeting. The caption suggested that the official was the top-ranking bureaucrat of Balochistan.

It was shared on digital platforms by several accounts, including the digital platforms of news publications.

It starts with the meeting going on but then the camerman notices a mouse with a sweet tooth nibbling away at a piece of cake right in front of the official addressing the meeting.

Soon after, the Balochistan government issued a denial, saying the news was false and misleading.

Balochistan government spokesperon Farah Azim Shah said the news was first shared by Indian news channels who claimed it was from Balochistan while urging people to refrain from sharing videos without verification.
