PTI leader Shahbaz Gill’s name placed on ECL
Sources say named placed on no-fly list on Islamabad administration's recommendation
ISLAMABAD: The name of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shehbaz Gill has been put on the Exit Control List (ECL), sources said Tuesday.
Sources added that his name was added to the no-fly list after the approval of the federal cabinet.
Gill, who served as Imran Khan’s chief of staff, was arrested in August on charges of sedition, following an interview to a private news channel in which he made objectionable remarks about the country’s armed forces.
Islamabad High Court granted him bail on September 15.
