Employees will also get 15% ad-hoc and 15% disparity allowances
LAHORE: The Punjab local government department on Tuesday notified 30 percent increase in the salaries of its employees.
As many as 58,000 employees of the department will benefit from the decision. The employees will also get 15 percent ad-hoc and 15 percent disparity allowances.
The pay raise would incur an additional expenditure of Rs8 billion on the finance department.
This relief will help employees to pass life with peace and ease amid skyrocketing prices hike and economic slowdown in the country.
