Rupee continues to make gains against dollar in inter-bank market
Local currency was being traded at Rs219.90
KARACHI: The rupee gained Rs2.3 against the dollar in the inter-bank market, as it crosses the new limit against the US currency.
The rupee was being traded at Rs219.90 in the early morning trade. The US currency has lost around Rs6.52 in four sessions this week.
The greenback closed at Rs221.94 in the inter-bank market on Thursday, the State Bank of Pakistan said.
“Total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $13.59 billion as of September 30, 2022,” it said.
