Coalition govt trying to reopen trade with India: Imran Khan

Says Maryam Nawaz is getting personal benefits after coming into power

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan said his government banned trade with India because India had broken international law, but the coalition government was trying to reopen it.

Addressing a public gathering in Karak on Sunday, the PTI chairman took a jibe at Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Vice President Maryam Nawaz and said that the audio tape leak revealed, Maryam was getting power plant machine for her son in law from India.

“She is getting personal benefits after coming into power and it is called corruption,” the PTI chief said.

Imran Khan lambasted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and termed his alleged audio tape as ‘shameful’.

He said that that a group of looters has been imposed on the country through foreign conspiracy.

“We cannot bow down to these looters. It is our duty to fight the war for Haqeeqi Azadi,” the PTI chief said and added that when the coalition government came to power, the country’s debts increased.

He went on to say that the rulers had not not condemn the drone attacks even once. “These people kept robbing the country for 10 years and there are corruption cases against them worth Rs1100 billion.”

Imran Khan warned the coalition government to not to be under the misconception that the nation would accept the ‘thieves’.

Lashing out at PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif the PTI chairman said that Nawaz’s son did not call himself a Pakistani citizen, adding that sons of former finance minister Ishaq Dar, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif were all abroad.

Responding to Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah’s warning against marching on Islamabad, Imran Khan said this time they would come with ‘full planning’.
