The wildfires broke out at 11am in the Taknai and Kala Dheri forests of Adenzai district in Lower Dir according to the rescue officials.
Fanned by strong winds, the blaze quickly spread across the slopes of mountainous regions, said 1122.
Firefighting operations on both sites is underway, said 1122 operations supervisor Mr. Abrar Ali khan.
The blaze is huge and engulfing large area of the forests.
