** Islamabad police have arrested a man for murdering his own daughter, and her family, as she had married out of her own free will, reported Aaj News.**

According to details, Saba, her husband Ehtisham and their six-month-old daughter Aizel had been missing since February 26 and no one was able to get in touch with them.

On March 4, Ehtisham’s father, Mohammad Sabir registered a complaint at the Lohi Bhair Police Station, after which the police started an investigation.

The police looked into all possibilities, including the family’s travel history to ensure they had not left the country while also ensuring that they did not get hurt while travelling locally but to no avail.

During the investigation, it was discovered that Saba’s father was frequently visiting her house around the same dates as the family went missing. It was also discovered that he was in touch with men that were suspicious.

The police decided to investigate one of the men, Haris, with who Saba’s dad was in touch. He confessed to killing Saba and her family with the help of her father Mazhar and two other accomplices.

The criminals tied the victims, including the six-month-old, strangled them with ropes and later slit their throats. They then threw the bodies in a local landfill, covering them with at least 25 to 30 feet of mud.

Police were able to recover the bodies after two days of digging. Saba’s father, Mazhar Hussain, has already been arrested while a search is underway for the remaining two culprits.
