TikTok star Hareem Shah was nearly mauled by a young lion while she posed for a photo with the big cat. Shah already looked visibly intimidated by the pet lion when it was brought into the room. However, when the animal swipes at her leg, the social media star is seen running for cover.

The lion/lioness is persistent though and Shah is seen cowering behind a few people, while the animal tries to get to her. However, the lion was controlled before any untoward incident could take place.

Shah is arguably one of Pakistan's biggest social media star with a penchant for controversy and media stunts.

Most recently, she made headlines after sharing a video next to large amounts of foreign currency, claiming she had brought it from Pakistan. After the FIA initiated an inquiry, she made a clarification video saying it was a joke and that the money had been provided by one of her 'friends' in the UK.

In the interim, she also shared a video of an incomplete lip job alleging that the FIA caused her to leave mid appointment.

She also went to say hello to MQM leader Altaf Hussain while he was leaving from his hearing for inciting violence in London.

In 2019, Shah’s videos from inside Pakistan’s Foreign Office caused a great deal of backlash, with security at the department coming under scrutiny after she was also seen sitting in what is usually the prime minister's seat.
