Punjab CM makes Durood recitation mandatory in schools
CM Buzdar issues notification directing authorities concerned to ensure the implementation of order
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Tuesday directed the authorities concerned to ensure the recitation of 'Durood' in schools in the morning assembly across the province.
According to a notification issued by the chief minister, the Durood will be read following the recitation of verses from Holy Quran and before the national anthem.
Quoting the chief minister, the notification stated reading Durood was an honour for every Muslim.
