Police has registered a case against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership including Maryam Nawaz for vandalism and violation of coronavirus Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The PML-N leaders booked in case include Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ahsan Iqbal, Talal Chaudhry, Rana Tanvir, Khawaja Asif, Ayaz Sadiq, Rana Sanaullah, Pervaiz Malik, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Rana Mubashir, Sheikh Rohail, Samiullah and Malik Afzal Khokar.

According to details, the case has been lodged on the complaint of a security officer of Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) at the Lari Adda Police Station.

It has been stated in the First Information Report (FIR) that the security fence, locks, interior, and tiles of Greater Iqbal Park have been broken during the PDM rally.

It added that the sanctity of national heritage was also irreparably damaged.

The PDM chief said that a meeting of the PDM will be held on February February 1, 2021, to make an announcement about the long march if the government fails to resign.
