PM separately holds meetings with delegations of allied parties

The delegation apprised PM Imran Khan of their concerns.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday giving special impetus to the province of Balochistan said that ridding it of its feeling of being marginalized was the top priority of the government.

The premier aired these thoughts during a meeting with a delegation from Balochistan Awami Party (BAP).

Prominent Baloch politicians including federal minister Zubaida Jalal along with Mir Khalid Magsi and Sardar Asrar Tareen were present in the meeting.

The delegation apprised PM Imran Khan of their concerns regarding a slash in the provincial budget in addition to bringing the premier up to speed with the ailments of the people of Balochistan and the development projects currently being worked on.

PM Imran Khan said that the government was paying special focus to development projects in the province and expressed hope for their timely completion.

He also added that the government was striving hard to sustain the country’s economy during tough times of coronavirus.

The prime minister concluded that the government will ensure that all the grievances brought forth by government allies will be addressed and resolved.

Meanwhile, a delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Sunday called on Prime Minister Imran Khan.

According to PM office media wing, the delegation included Syed Amin ul Haq Minister for IT, Iqbal Muhammad Ali Khan MNA, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui MNA, Kishwer Zehra MNA, Sabir Hussain Kaim Khani MNA, Salahuddin MNA and Usama Qadri MNA.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Minister for Planning Asad Umar, Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Muhammad Qasim Suri and PTI’s Chief Whip Malik Amir Dogar were also present in the meeting.

Separately, Muhammad Aslam Bhootani, member of the National Assembly, also called on the prime minister.

A delegation of Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) also called on Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The delegation included Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) Dr. Fehmida Mirza and Saira Bano, MNA, PM office media wing in a press release said.

Separately, Ghulam Bibi Bharwana, MNA, also called on the prime minister. NNI
