According to a press release issued by Foreign Office Spokesperson, the decision has been taken in view of strong fraternal ties and due to renewed Afghan government's request.
Pakistan has already opened its two border terminals at Torkham and Chaman for transit trade and exports to Afghanistan.
The statement said the terminal will remain open six days a week and Saturday is reserved for pedestrian movement.
