Traffic police official injured in Karachi firing
KARACHI: A traffic police official sustained bullet wounds when unknown assailants in city's Liaquatabad area on Wednesday, Aaj News reported.
According to Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Central Irfan Baloch, the traffic police official identified as Irshad, was patrolling near Gujjar Nala in Liaquatabad when he signaled a motorbike to stop.
However, the unknown pillion riders opened fire on the police official as a result the official sustained bullet wounds in leg and was shifted to a nearby hospital.
